Use the arcade input for Hadouken for 1.25x power. Move the Control Stick in a half-circle for a multi-hitting Shakunatsu Hadouken.
Use the arcade input for Tatsumaki Senpukyaku for 1.16x power and more horizontal distance. Hold the button for more distance.
Use the arcade input for Shoryuken for 1.2x power, invincibility frames, as well null recovery time after landing.
Focus Attack can absorb one blow while charging. Reverse the attack by pressing the Control Stick in opposite direction prior to the blow. Tap the Control Stick twice forward or backward to cancel the attack.
Ryu has two Final Smashes: Shin Shoryuken for foes directly in front of him, and Shinku Hadouken for those at a distance.
